To help you, we have gathered some tips to get out of quarantine with the brightest and healthiest smile!
Reduce consumption of sugar and acidic foods
The sugar as well as the acid in the various foods erode the enamel of our teeth, as a result of which we have dental alterations without knowing it.
Consume more water
As in all other parts of the body, water has beneficial properties on the teeth, since it "washes" the mouth area from food and creates a feeling of freshness.
Brush your teeth properly twice a day
With gentle movements and without exerting excessive force on your teeth, brush your teeth to remove plaque.
See your dentist often
You should not forget to visit the dentist whenever possible for cleaning or whitening, to make sure that the teeth and the mouth area are healthy. Now in quarantine, you have a lot of time available and it is a good opportunity to visit your dentist for a checkup!
Familiarise yourself with flossing and mouthwash
After brushing our teeth for best results and to prevent gingivitis, the use of floss is ideal. If you do not know how to use it we will show you. Wrap the floss tightly around your finger and put it in the gap between the teeth. Then pull gently up two to three times. If bleeding occurs, it is most likely due to gingivitis.
The mouthwash with a specific schedule will remove food from areas of the mouth that the toothbrush does not reach and will nourish our teeth.
These tips, if followed correctly, will give you the brightest and healthiest smile.
